“A Night in Vienna: Operatic Gems of Mozart, Lehár & Strauss”
Amanda Horton, soprano, Jonathan Ross, baritone, Daniel Weiser, pianist
A Viennese soirée of humor, champagne and romance — Jonathan & Amanda play a dozen different characters in famous arias and love scenes from their shared operatic repertoire, tracing a musical path from Mozart’s masterpieces to beguiling Viennese operetta. The singers have performed many of these signature roles professionally, and have collaborated often over the years in performances of Mozart, WWII era cabaret, and Italian opera concerts. Performances in two grand, historic church venues.
Popular highlights from The Magic Flute, The Marriage of Figaro, Don Giovanni, Die Fledermaus & The Merry Widow.
